How does Overnight pet sitting work? (in pet owner's home)

We will stay overnight at your home. This includes:

Bedtime potty break/walk before the sitter and your pet(s) go to sleep for the night (9:00/10:00pm)

Breakfast and a morning potty break/walk before the sitter leaves in the morning. (7:00/8:00am)

Of course the extra love, play-time and affection

Also included: medicine administration, plant watering, light housekeeping, taking in the mail and taking out the trash

What if my pet needs care outside of the Overnight hours?

If you need us to stay more than the Overnight hours, additional daytime services are available to add.

How far in advance should I book Boarding services?

Boardings are our most popular service and tend to fill quickly. The earlier the request, the better chances of availability

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

LKN Paws and Tails, LLC will use our best judgment while caring for your pet and home during inclement weather (severe storms, snow storms, hurricanes & ice). We will attempt to carry out your instructions to the best of our ability. The care we provide your pet and its safety is our first concern. The inclement weather plan will be as follows:

  • Every effort will be made to drive to your home.
  • The service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered due to circumstances.
  • If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, you and your emergency contact will be notified.
  • You will be notified that the above-mentioned contingency plan has been activated.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled service will be charged 100% of the visit fee. This policy applies to all dog walks and drop-in visits, as our sitters have already allocated time for your pet's care. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
